The Scoop on the Majors: In the music business, it's often all about who you're compared to. "Instead of being receptive to an artists individual style record company executives tend to try to emulate the musical formula of the superstar of the moment". By pouring over several hundred thousand dollars into marketing and promotions for the artist, the majors create a grand illusion. Unfortunately for the artist, what a major label may see as a great act may not always be what the consumer is feeling. There is so much talent out there that never gets a chance to be seen or heard. Music is a form of expression dealing with love, hurt, pain, laughter and everyday life situations. Artistic expression is something a major label has no control over. When an artist becomes independent to do his or her own creations he or she is truly free. Being independent also allows the artist to control his or her own destiny.

Ro! has this advice to offer to Aspiring artist
"Just remember to stay true to yourself and what your beliefs are. Never let anyone change you and don't adapt to the styles of music out there. Stay original, be the first to start the new trend, lead don't follow. If you stay persistent and follow your dreams you'll make it."
